J Street
J Street is the “pro-Israel, pro-peace” organization that offers itself as an alternative to the mainstream American pro-Israel community. It consists of a lobbying organization, a political action committee (PAC), and a non-profit educational organization. J Street is a strong advocate for a “two-state solution” (a Jewish state of Israel and an Arab state of Palestine living side by side in peace and security) and for an active role for the U.S. in promoting, mediating, and guaranteeing such a solution.
